This is interesting, both me and my friend are good AS programmers (though its at 2, not 3) but will probably advance to console gaming. If any more programming roles become available, let us know, we are very keen - but im almost 17, hes 15 and we live in Wales.

Yeah I'm with Luis on this, you pay for my visa and I'm yours ;)

I'll get them to bring you over, just so you can make my tea for me

Tom-

wow u guys live in kent..... i live near plumstead common! i didnt know you guys were english.

I'd so apply for the animator position if my portfolio was ready :(

I also have European citizenship, so I would consider this :X

Haha, actually the head of the art team Dan has seen your work already, he flagged your account as 'a good example of flash animation' for the others to look at.

I was all like 'No way, that's totally Ross! I know that guy!'

Tom-

Uhm.. uh.. Job please?

I'll talk to Dan about it tomorrow :D

Tom-

I always get you three confused, you (Tom) are the prominent actionscript guy, Dim is that animator, and I always forget what Dan does, I feel bad for saying that but I always get you mixed up.

Am I right?

Regardless, I suck at all three areas you have posted and live in the US so there isn't a chance for me, but if I did decide to become a professional flash animator, what is the money like? Dollar figure wise, I'm better with numbers. I don't mean just your company, I've been trying to find out and I don't know how much being a flash animator pays if you work full-time.

Dan is actually just Dim's friend and not actually a part of the SFB - he's technically in Double Helix, who you'll see is co-authored on the decline series.

The average flash salary (from what I've seen) over here is around £25k - £35k, so thats $50k to $70, but don't quote me on that, its just been my experience. And I have no idea about the US.

Tom-

HI there

Cool! Maybe someday. I live in south east london at the moment (Eltham to be precise). (It's a shit hole). =]

I'm going to Comic Con. Perhaps I'll see you guys!

I'm no good with AS3. It feels entirely different from AS2 to me, like another language. AS2 used to look like another language for me, too, but I got used to putting ActionScript in movie clips and buttons. That's part of the reason I like Flash 8 the most.

I'd say I'm a fairly good artist, but I wouldn't be motivated enough all the time to apply... Oh well =(

Is it THQ?

Scratch that, I didn't read the other comments. Huh, I wish I could program... plus be 18.

god dam :(

dunno sh*t bout flash but I'LL APPLY noncaps

Will there ever be a Decline of Video-Gaming 4?
Please Awnser

nope

I must keep this in mind for a couple of years time when I've finished college, since Surrey isn't all too far.

Also, do you guys get an official tea bitch?

Im excellent with AS2 and AS3 and I can workwith touchscreen work, XML Sockets and Adobe AIR.
But I live in Australia
(I also am not too great at AS2 SCHHHHHHH!!!)
