Come see my talk!

Posted by The-Super-Flash-Bros - June 3rd, 2009

Hey guys,

Over here in London, we have monthly meetings of Flash folk, with two presentations and alcohol-fueled networking after. We call this The London Flash Platform User Group

I've been to a good number of them now, and learned a lot from some guys who really know their stuff. So now it's my turn to give back! Tomorrow (Thursday) night, I'll be giving a presentation on the Alchemy project from Adobe Labs. You may not know the name, but it's the very thing that let Mike compile Doom into Flash, winning him FHM's game of the year award. It's a pretty exciting technology with a lot of potential, so if you want to learn more about it and how to use it, and you're in the London area, come by and check it out!

Oh, and while it's held in a bar, there's no age limit. The place is hired out just for us

Details are here

I've heard of it (and really want to go) but right now, I'm just a little to busy.

Sounds like a fun time, pity it's so far. Have a good time though1

i'd love to go but i live on the opposite side of North America.

Nice. Too bad I'm not going. You should make a video of what happened after. So the people who didn't go will see what happened.

The organiser, Tink, records all the talks. So I'll post the video when it's up

Thought you said :You may not know the name, but it's the very thing that let Mike compile Doom into Flash, winning him FHM's game of the year sword. For awhile.

Next year, that sword is mine!

yea im interested to see footage of it. alcohol and flash have always been successful combinations if you ask me.

You are a guy or 2?

boozey brits and swords? can't wait for the footage!
